Human Longevity Imaging Center

The Human Longevity Imaging Center project, located in South San Francisco, CA, involved the design-build of a 7,671-square-foot shell space into a new Human Longevity facility. Construction included MRI Suite, CT Suite, Flex Room, Mammography Room, EKG Room, Dexa Room, six client rooms, lobby, reception, break room, two conference areas, network room, electrical room, four doctors’ offices, laboratory, and full kitchenette. The project scope required installation of a new eight-ton rooftop condensing unit, two indoor fan coil units, and placement of a new two-ton split heat pump with condensing unit on roof, and a wall mounted fan coil.


UNIQUE ASPECTS

  • Implemented last minute design modifications including shifting equipment locations and changing flooring type throughout the entire facility with minimal impact to schedule
  • High-end finishes included 4’X4’ tile throughout the space, specialty Sentient lighting, 36’ modular lighting in hard lids, moss covered accent wall, paneling, inlays, perfect recessed panels, auto darkening glass, and hidden doors
  • Completed complex above ceiling scopes of work within a space made up of 90 percent hard lid ceiling for finishes and troubleshooting
